This topic is turning in to title topic, but anyway I would like to have ability to use guild name as title of someform. Not in million years guild name tag like [TAOW] but something like Exsu, the Watcher or Exsu of the Watchers ((+guild)).
Unless we have ability to see player info panels or bars in -game it’s impossible to know who belongs to any guild unless you both are from same. I’d rather not have ability to customize your guild title so you cannot fake membership but it would make some name+guild name combinations look silly.
There’s one in wvw for killing a million supply dolyaks, but my gl did the math and said that If you literally just sat outside the dolyak spawn and camped them, it would take roughly four years of GAMEPLAY time to achieve this title.

That time he/she spend killing dolyaks for title was stupid.
It´s lovely to have impossible or extremely hard things, because somebody will spent their life in order to accomplish that thing. It also shows that somebody at dev team had sense of humor.
No… i am a perfectionist, i dont mind hard to get achievements, but 4 years of ingame time is just ridiculous for 1 achievement where you actually just spawncamp.
so yes, if anybody ever got that title (which i know there isnt, cause it is impossible) then i would say he had greatly wasted his life.

Thats quite a level of absurdity. And they seem to have set the bar of game longlivety pretty high if this was intentional.

You can see… GW2 is a dang good game, but their titles were soooo not well thought out.

They are made with the purpose of making sure people always have something to do. Just like te area exploration.

here they are. also there is a fine line between ‘‘time consuming’’ and having something to do, to ‘‘near impossible unless you dedicated your entire life and sacrifice your firstborn to the devs’’
Ah yeah i can see they lack a few lower grade WvW titles.
Though if I remember right there is plenty achievments to get while achieving those.
I think those are the kind of tiltes that are meant to be achieved after 7 years+
Not something people are supposed to directly go for but something they will achive by doing work in that direction in years of WvW conquest.
