So whats up with the Gleam Club chat color? I joined and want to change my chat color but it seems there is no way change it. I’ve tried the hex code way from another post but it doesn’t work and even it did, doesn’t seem very intuitive…

I thought it was bad enough that you can’t change you character tint unless you start a new character or BUY cubits to acquire an appearance token but this just makes me feel a bit ripped off. I mean, I really want to support this game because it’s amazing but this needs to be addressed.

try the actual color name you want your text in…

Can you clarify, like a string of text I’d enter for say purple??

the text color uses the in game color palette (for example strong orange)

Go to inventory, the clothes page to get a preview of all the colors. Type :#color name: then your text

it will remember color you used

This doesn’t work for me on ps4. Any fixes?

It should work for you, I’m on PS4 too and worked for me.

Just find a color you want, find the Hex code for it, then open chat and type “:#hexcodehere:” without the "'s of course, but including the :'s at the front and back, and then hit enter. Then afterwords type something to test if it changed.

Here, just type “Online Color hex picker” And that thing in the picture should show up. Pick the color you want, and the “#numbers” is the Hex code you can enter in chat

Ok I’m on PS4 & the color changed but my text changes to just a colored # for some reason?

I’m doing signs want to change the text colors on them & read here is same as chat.

Changes to the color but no text just the # symbol.

Not sure, I’m on PS4 and this is an example of how I change colour:

:#night azure:Gellis Portal

I use colours in game name rather than hex. Seems to work fine!

Apologies for the slight hijack…

The text colour change code uses up sign characters on PS4, and i can’t quite fit on some thati wish to do.

Will this be changed, or more charters allowed?
