So I got gleam club for one real reason! Chat color…
I want to select my chat color and thats that… everything I type is in my color…
This having to type a hex code is horrible… “And I am feeling ripped off”
The feature I wanted is not use-able…

I agree that it is a bit annoying. Maybe if you could copy paste the hex code in instead of having to manually type it every time it wouldn’t be as bad.
you can also type :#colorname:hey how you doing?
but the color does not stay (i agree there should be an ingame list of colors and they should stay as default until you chage it)

Should definitely stay… I also thought it was gonna be like the Devs when they used to chat the glyphs in the chat went purple… That would be cool imo

This is just the first iteration of those features, we agree having to type “:#colour:” every time is sub optimal. Sounds like the general feel is that a list of colours would be ideal, and your chat will stay that colour unless you change it again?
It’s on our list of to-dos post 1.0, along with some more QoL changes

i agree with steggs here, because as we all know
- the universe has been re-created (i wonder if it was pushed because we begged them to hurry up - i know it was coming anyway)
- they have only just added the GC less than 48 hours ago
- the game will be having patch days long after release
- BUGS and issues are to bee expected
- as much as the devs are geniuses they are not Omnipotent
- chill out and appreciate what they have done/are doing for everyone
Not having a go… just saying calm down and things will come out good
And to those who are confused about the meaning of PRE vs POST: Pre means before post means after i for one am willing to wait, because when you wait things become epic and have a hcance to become more epic… if we keep bitching and moaning would anythin ever get done?

Hex code isn’t bad. It gives us specific control. Typing it in every time is bad, it would be nice to have some default color option. so we don’t have to type it in each time

A drop down list I can scroll quickly through to pick a color for chat, that would be great to have when picking eye color and skin color in the character creator too.

exactly this… tjhose of us who dont want to have to alt tab all the time just to look at a hex chart >.>
I try not to sound like too much of an ass, but I don’t know a way to voice this better. Things we are paying for definitely should be a priority. Even if it’s QoL. I don’t mean any disrespect or rudeness, just voicing my thoughts on the subject.
An example of my thought process: say gleam club was released and the auto beacon feature wasn’t working. That is an example of what I mean by priority. Just for the record.

That’s 100% fair, you’re not sounding bad at all!
Anything you guys pay for is always a top priority, we obviously want everyone to be happy with what they’ve bought. If something flat out wasn’t working it would be fixed right away. At the moment though we’re on an internal feature lockdown, which is why improvements like this would come after 1.0.

Thanks for replying to me with this information. Always enjoy being informed on the going ons. I assume feature lockdown means right now you guys are finishing up a few “launch planets” for the increase in players just incase, and fixing the bugs that snuck in with 1.0?
