Can anyone tell me how to do this? “Invisible” lighting. Or at least the chisels used?

Bevel chisel opposite sides of the rock to get that effect. Really any chisel work done on a block if mirrored will allow light to pass thru. It’s hard to explain for me but it’s easy to show how it’s done in game. Hopefully someone else can explain it better than I.

Playing around with a few blocks and I think I’ve figured out how it’s done. Now… where shall I use this awesome effect? (Off course original credit for the idea goes to - @Fante )

adding to what I said above, the left side is what was shown higher up by @C0ND1T10NR3D and I would consider that a bug that may be fixed at some point (it is inconsistent with how fluid flow works, where fluids would “not” pass through on the left side example).

the right side is a limitation of the voxel system since once light/fluid enters the block, it cant be stopped from exiting somewhere else in the same block and has to ignore internal block geometry that is sub-voxel, so the right side allows fluid flow, and even with the bug fixed, would continue to allow light flow too.

Is this the mirroring technique? The chisel type doesn’t matter, the game only cares which corner was chiseled.

I would recommend going to the “Lighting School” on Grovidias Te. I get there via PS Guild Hall Portal located in the Grovidias Te PS hub.

Is it inside the guild hall or nearby. Couldnt find it once i went through the guild hall portal
