Anyone else found this? this is not the first time it has happened to me, but using the clear weather totem actually makes it harder to see.

It removes the clouds, but makes visibility much worse.
I posted a similar issue a week or so ago about the same thing. It was super weird. I ended up deciding it was clearing the weather but making the atmosphere worse. But, that was jsut a guess.
That seems to be what’s going on, when it became night the sky was clear…
There is a way to remove the weather effects, but only on PC. Remember to back up your file first and use at your own risk.

I usually like having a different feeling atmosphere on the planet, it just was so extreme I could hardly see planets, this is hardly ever the case though so ill probably not remove it. Thanks for the link though, if it becomes more of a problem ill defiantly try this…
I always have snow weather on to even notice clear weather but good to know thanks for the info 
It is a bug in the weather system. If a server goes too long without a restart, everything gets foggy.
Which is weird, because they just recently did a server restart to fix it.
I used to play a vocel game called Landmark and they had some kind of ‘bug’ in the respawning of haevested trees. Eventually, we could run out of trees. During the short life of Landmark their ‘fix’ (which isn’t a fix) was to restart the servers on the regular like 2 or 3 times a week?! I don’t remember.
Anyway, maybe they need a regular downtime here as well.
Monthly/Quarterly server reset? Probably couldn’t hurt.
