I’m not sure if we’re doing a linear/square city or more of a circle one, but if we were to do a circular city this could be a good point of reference for the road system. I would just like to get a clear understanding as to what the layout/shape of our city is going to be sometime soon.

I´d like something more ‘random’/irregular. Like real cities (excluding american ones) are built.

I’m the complete opposite, how are things perfectly symmetrical most of the time. This is no exception I think the city needs to be symmetrical

The roads,would be nearly impossible to make everything symmetrical.

I hear ya haha, just had to check ;). Granted I think we should figure out the general shape of the city, should it be random/in mix with the terrain, linear/square/grid, or circular like a web? If there are any other suggestions to the shape, please share.

I agree @Predatoxic, I like the circular design but I do believe in preserving the natural beauty of the landscape. That being said I’m sure we could work with the rivers and mountains, though I’m sorry @G_Sage but I don’t think that would allow for a totally symmetrical city . Then again I’m not a very good builder, so you never know what we those great builders out there can accomplish

Not to get back off-topic, but if you have watched attack on Titan,you’ll see that they have circular wall surrounding the entire nation, witha river running through, and it’s still symmetrical.

I have and I loved it ;). So that’s one way we can work with it and even utilize it as a form of transportation.
