I was playing, and the game crashed to desktop (my character froze, then the game completely disappeared) I waited a few minutes, then tried to re-enter, before I logged in I clicked on the ‘send crash dump’ option. Successfully rejoined the game where I’d left off, but then a few seconds later the game crashed again. My query is - does sending the crash dump reports actually help the current devs? If so I shall keep choosing the option to send. I stopped sending them because we didn’t have devs working on the game for such a long time.

When it happens on PC through steam it’s for steam support. Not to the actual developers of the game

It depends. If it’s the game itself doing it, it’s Monumental getting the tickets.
If it’s Steam crashing, it’s Steam Support.
The bigger question is if the crash reports have been re-routed to Monumental in the time since, instead of being sent to Wonderstruck’s address.
I’m not fully sure how it knows where to send the report, but I assume that it’d have an address to send it to?

This actually happened to me 2 times yesterday. Game suddenly crashed for no reason.

I’ve been getting kicked from the game too quite often. It’s happened twice tonight when placing blocks. Game freezes and get kicked out of boundless. Seems to happen when placing blocks quickly? Anyone else?

It’s occurred at times for me and at totally random times. I reconnect and it would do it again a few times, but eventually just stopped doing it.

Yeah it doesn’t happen all the time I must admit.
One thing I’ve noticed is the following will 100% make my crash and get booted from boundless..
See if any of you can replicate the following…
What I did was float in water and speed place blocks while moving backwards and it’s almost guaranteed it will boot me out the game.
Issue seems to be speed placing blocks can the game keep up with updating everything? or does it just crash as doesn’t have enough time to update everything?
Maybe the Prestige updates and placing of blocks? I dunno just thinking out loud here.

Same here. Totally random.
Its been happening to me for months, long before the update(s). I’d dump them here to make sure Monumental is getting them, but they are not permitted.
EDIT: Maybe Discord will accept them, I’ll check…

Keeps crashing for me aswell. Happens when placing blocks and mining blocks quickly and has also happened on a few hunts after the meteor landed next to me. Haven’t been able to play once without it crashing recently.

keeps crashing after around 15mins playing.
started crashing around a week ago.
cant play more than 15 mins a time.
tried again. now i can only be in the game 2 mins.
send crash dump. was in T7 .. mined couple blocks and it crashed. 5 times in a row like this.

Seems to be the new norm now cant play the game without it crashing
