I just picked the weapon crafting perk to unlock the gem weapons. When I open the recipe in the work bench the game crashes. All of the metal based tools and weapons open up just fine. Just the gem ones are crashing me.

it`s same issue just different epic
If you use a machine with more normal coils than advanced, you should find it works as intended
Can confirm it does not work as intended at any point. On my new alt with the efficiency bonus(the only one able to make gem weapons) I have multiple workshops and no coils on any of them but one(which has 5 normal coils), it crashes any time I open up any gem tool/weapon in any workshop. It doesn’t affect gem torches though as far as I’ve seen.
Its not just an epic skill point problem. I have the same issue but with alloy items as well and tried taking the skill off and it still crashed my game.
