That’s unfortunately something a developer hast to do.
James offered to do it for sovereigns here but since we haven’t got any new maps for quite some time now, I think we are out of luck until Monumental fully takes over (and maybe automates the process).

Hm… have a few sovereign planets that have the map, no plan who made them, the newer planets no longer have a map.
