Anyone have any data on creature spawning? Some questions i have:
How close does a player need to be to have a herd spawn?
Will they only spawn on natural blocks (unplotted), natural plotted, or player made plotted?
I dunno, ANYTHING you know about creature spawning would be helpful. Thx!
Hopper spawn rule is simple:
Spawn behind player and stay silent until on top of target player.
Or spawn in the middle of cactus’s… and the player who has loud music figures out too late… “That’s no moon”
Don’t know exact numbers but do know its a radius always on or near (un plotted) land and have the annoying ability to come closer and closer even if you invested points to be “invisible” to them (of course this also depends on the planet lvl how “invisible” you are).
No spawn in middle of lakes
Unless there is a natural (un plotted) block touching air in that radius no spawn on water or lava.
They can spawn on player placed blocks as long as the blocks are unplotted. Even in the sky in the middle of a lake…
They spawn within a certain radius of you depending on the direction you are travelling. If it’s a particular direction you’re trying to go in you can guarantee they will be between you and your destination.
They can spawn anywhere they bloody well please. I have a 12x12 plotted area and today i found critters in the center on the 2nd floor AND on my roof. You want to tell me they wandered 6 plots, through a narrow opening, and up some stairs. They do what they please…
If you have some time to hunt me down in the discords I can totally go over all kinds of mob spawning rules.
well they have a nasty habbit of spawning really close and walking into you when your building especially spitters.
This is so true, which is why I do this most of the time now:
