Dear shoppers, what do you wish more of?

Looking to start a store but I’m not sure what the demand is for things anymore. What are you always shopping for? Is there anything you wish there were more of to buy? What forged items do you look for and what traits do you prefer?

Is your questions about forge goodies or everything in general?

the majority of my buying is oortstones, higher tier flowers, and forged titanium tools. But oortstones swallow the majority of my coins.

I heard of people having hard times to find the easy forges like liquid breakers and solidifiers.

Ive never had so far a person taking care of solidifiers at sunset forge market. And liquid breaker forgers always turned inactive so far and their shop ashed.

So you could take care of the things one uses on a daily basis. Theres always demand for that.

Orbs like @HOST said, also like essences, things one uses to produce things. Glue, sackcloth, cotton, metal ores… theres many possibilities what to sell. But if you make a mixed shop you can always adapt

I’ve noticed when building that there is a huge lack of Ornate Glass. I’m not sure how well a glass shop would do, but I have to make my own Ornate glass and I’m lazy. There are a few glass shops already but none that are fully or consistently stocked.

Other than that, I could use a consistent forge. I buy from several shops usually, but it would be nice at times to have one single source. I’m a little picky on what forged tools and weapons I buy, for example:

Hammers
T6-T7 Hammers - Dmg/Spd/AOE - For T6-T7 farming

Axes
T6-T7- Axes - Dmg/Spd/AOE - For T6 and T7 farming
Lower Tier crop axes for gathering crops on my farms - Speed/AOE

Slingbows
Dmg/Range/Speed
Dmg/Range/Shotgun
And some for roadrunners which are usually Dmg/Range/Light Flight (I think)

All that said, @georgegroeg usually has most everything I need when it comes to forged goods. He usually has crop axes, T6-T7 hammers, liquid breakers, solidifiers, loot sticks etc. etc. and is super helpful. I’m sure if I asked nicely he’d make anything I needed.

Thanks for the store plug. I try and keep things stocked the best I can without having to forge everyday. As you know I prefer building more then any other activities in game. But I’ll make some axes and try and get some of those bows going.

As for the glass. @CleoStJames has a glass store on trior. But ornate takes a lot of materials to make. So keeping those stocked is very difficult. And expensive. But if there’s specific colours you want. She may be able to do that for you.

I can make ornate glass on request. I would stock the store with it, but no one buys the stylish or the plain glass, so I don’t want to waste the metal making stuff no one is going to buy. At this point that store is mostly just my glass storage and I make what I use.

EDIT: Also, I got really sick of digging dirt and sand. I would buy them, but since no one buys the glass I have no coins to reinvest. :woman_shrugging:

I think of it as my storage for glass as well. But I have to pay to get it out of the shop stands for some reason.:crazy_face:

Seems I’m noone

 Ok, there are on average 3 customers in the shop at any given week. The amount of glass sold is very small though. I do replace things as I find them sold.

I do appreciate the 3 people shopping in my store. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

How big is your stock per color?
Are you oepsie glass emporium?
I ask because i dont know your shop and if i look on b.u.t.t. for glass on trior that name pops up

Yes, I am the Oopsie Glass Emporium. It is accessible from the TNT hub Orijia portal.

It depends on the color.

Plain glass: There is usually a couple ss of each of the brighter colors because people seem to like those. @georgegroeg likes shadow red so I keep a couple ss of that in the stands for him. Black and white I try to keep at least half a shop stand of because people buy those. Some colors no one buys and I don’t use either so there is only a ss.

Stylish glass: There is usually half a ss of each color.

This is for colors that I actually have gleam for. If I don’t have gleam a lot of colors have a handful of glass that I got from kind people donating. The gleam hub has petered out quite a bit so getting new gleam colors is slow going.

I sent you a pm
Also portal names are very important so one can find the shop easier. If the name on the portal signs isnt the same as the facility that sells stuff, people have a hard time to find things. Then most likely only people shop at your facility that know you
Ibwas running today partly a LOT trying to find a place. In the end there would have been a portal at TNT or even one of the smaller malls that barely say anything to most people… advertisement is also very important.

It is actually marked Orijia/Oopsie Emporium in the TNT hub. I know I could open up a portal and put it in the shop section and probably get more traffic, but honestly, I cannot even remember to keep one TNT portal fueled, much less two. Doubling the oort costs isn’t ideal either.

I just recently invested in a large amount of sand and soil, I keep forgetting to pick it up and get the glass brewing tho lol. I ran out a couple times trying to build something abd i was just done, 60k coins into request baskets, filled up after a couple days,

i might look into having a selection of glass again if i ever get back around to opening up a main store again. (Not to make competition or anything, but I have never really competed with the more specialized shops when it came to volume or selection)

Id have expected forged goods to do well. I even opened a shop and jammed it full.

Hardly any sold.

As for ornate glass…hmmm might dig the stacks i have out of reclaim if theres a demand

Where is your shop at?

With the small player population demand for anything in any large amounts will probably not be a thing. I run two shops and one sells crazy good and the other is just ok.

My concrete shops sells ok… but I know I am not the lowest in price so it’s semi-expected. I do however have every color and try to keep them all stocked as much as possible.

My other shop just sells a bit of everything, but the items from hunts (mantles, hide, tallow, bones, blood etc.) sell like hotcakes. Ores also sell very well mostly gold, silver and copper. Farm items like (Oat, Rice, etc.) seem to sell good also.

Your store is perfect, but I can’t expect you or anyone to stock everything I need. Forging just sucks at times and its very time consuming. I think someone could make shop just for slingbows and have all types of slingbows that might do decently. Have a selection of all the gem types and a decent mix of single shot and shotgun etc.

I have been to just about every glass shop and I was looking specifically for white. I just made it myself, but I am so busy and lazy at the same time I just prefer to let the coins flow to someone who has a shop.

Sadly though, I don’t think anything sells really well with the small population. Hopefully that changes soon.
