Decorative Gravel Color

Decorative gravel color seems to be determined by the gravel color, not the rock color. Didn’t see this mentioned anywhere. Tried to make some cold berry and ended up with rust lime.

Just thought I’d let everyone know. These new blocks aren’t cheap.

Have noticed myself today. Makes sense as it’s made of gravel. But other blocks have their color defining ingredients on top of the list. Gravel is listed as the last.

So I picked rock color I wanted for the decor and whatever gravel I had and got a surprise. Thanks to cancel button I was able to change and focus on gravel color rather than rock.

I only realised this when I checked the queue… Cancelled the job and swapped gravel.

In general I think the recipe should show you what color it’s going to make. The client has all the information it needs to make the preview image match whatever will happen when you click the craft button

It’s gravel so it should go by the gravel not the rock. The other two go by rock cuz not marbled gleam or mosaic mantle. At least that’s how I saw it. Why would gravel be different

Marble - rock decides color
Mosaic - rock desides color
Gravel - gravel
Wicker - deco wood

yeah, its been suggested a few times before - would be great;

it wasn’t too important before they introduced the mechanics where machines read your inventory - you had to put needed materials in the machine so you could control what you put; but in inventory things can be a bit messier - I often forget there is another smart stack of a certain material in my back pack that will be considered first by the machine and I get the wrong color;

it wouldn’t happen if we could see the color we get in the recipe view and before we hit craft button

Yes tangle is there but it goes by the deco wood not the tangle. Only thing that goes by the name is gravel if I remember right

Havent tested but it would make sense that colour comes from tangle just cause it would add more interest for it. As gravel does now

That’s why you put the stone/wood in the actual machine. It uses that first. Normally you don’t go to a machine without a color or design in mind. So put those in the content and it takes them first

The wicker comes from the deco wood. Tested it 3 times with different wood and tangle

@Buugi the tangle is what keeps the wood together with the super agent man lmao. So it takes the wood color

Well didnt thought that much of a process of it.

I didn’t either till I made gravel twice with hot moss and dark green and cane out grey gravel. Or teal mosaic and dark orange mosaic with bs fillers and color stayed same

Gravel is the only one that stays to the gravel color. The rest go by the rock or wood color. Don’t waiste your agent man to test it I already did lmao

You can actually see it when you craft it. When you go your queue tab. You see the colour of it.

When having issues telling colours apart, a text box would be lovely.

If you wanna be sure. Just put example whole different colour of wood like red. And then green tangle. <- just example.

That’s what I did. Tossed in stone of 2 different and 2 different wood and massed them to see what happened.

Yes the game needs a text color box. 3 colors look the same half the time
