RULES:
standard DB rules (see signs in arena for details)
building is allowed, each team gets 600 blocks before the match
2 minutes before each round to build defences (walls, platforms… optional)
rest can be used during match
shovels allowed when building defences, not allowed during match
building blocks are provided by the arena master, no other blocks are allowed
players start on their side of the arena, but they can cross to the other side when they see the signal
unforged sapphire bombs only
no augments
no double fisting
no food/ brew buffs (with the exception of persisting food, teaching food, reviver brew, strength brew (for when the player doesn’t have enough skills to destroy blocks (with bomb) in 1 hit (otherwise useless) )
floating pies are allowed IN THE SMALL ARENA (3x3) ONLY (possibly FFA, so bring some just in case)
no healing (brew / bomb) during match
1st, 2nd, 3rd place (teams), last one standing (FFA) will get prizes
prizes are TBA, also looking for sponsors
a single round takes much longer than is usual for DB, so there won’t be ‘best of 3’, only 1 match. so watch your step

READY SIGNAL: player stands on the step, opens trapdoor above = player is ready, paying attention and waiting for ‘‘GO!’’ signal (trapdoors are autodoored)
I was thinking of offering to DJ for the event, but I just realized I will be busy at that time. If you want I could pre-record a mix for however long you want. I usually do Electronic music (Techno, House, Progressive, Trance, some EDM, etc.), but I’m open to whatever.
at this point it is uncertain if there will even be an event, as we have 3 confirmed players, if I personally join the shenanigans, we are looking at a a couple of friendly matches maybe
