Dreams when you sleep

I dont know if this will be hard or easy to make. This is rhater simple when you sleep you are in a completly mew randomly generated world every single time you sleep are they diffrent scenarios. Exempel of some kinda dream you are in a plan world it start to rain the world start to fill up wiht water you cant move and you wake up. Every dream should last maybe 10 minutes or end if you die. You have diffrent items or no items in the dream.if this will be implemented i wanna say a thing the night will be 10 mins so when its day you wake up so stuff wont get wierd in world or some thing

That would be the most annoying thing ever .-.

Why? Plus it is optional to sleep

You assume that. For exampe in MC it wasn’t really optional.

Also there are other things I’d rather like to see with beds. EXP buffs for a short period of time if you log off in a bed and come back a few hours later is one of those and my favorite.

Well something is needed when sleeping cas if some aint sleeping and some is sleeping you will do nothing for 10 minutes

It could either be done like in Minecraft where the screen only goes black for a few seconds or sleeping could be something you only do before you log off to catch a nice buff once you log in again.

Honestly IĀ“d just ALT TAB out of the game and play Minesweeper if IĀ“d had to wait 10 minutes whenever my character takes a nap. At some point youĀ“ve seen all ā€˜dreams’ and it starts to annoy you.

As it says everytime it is diffrent procedual generated worlds ands all that

Why would you just wait 10 minutes in bed?

I mean if there is no dreams or something. There need to be something or all would be messed up for me its night and for you its day that wouldent work so we need all to be synced or something

I think I know what you mean but you seem to assume that sleeping will change the daytime. Which hopefully isn’t even considered.

Please, no…

I mean in all games like this you sleep and night pass by doing it faster but i mean too now you have something to do at night in bed

I’d rather just play the game.

Yea all games that are SINGLEPLAYER we play in an MMO world. There isn’t really a place for a bed that can warp you forward in time. (Ok every bed does that with a speed of 1s/s but that’s not important)

I mean ok since the time won’t go by faster you could see it as a minigame when you’re trapped indoors because of those nasty monsters beyond your door. But wouldn’t you have more important things to do than dreaming for 10 minutes (or however long a night will be on the planet your on)?

I, for one, love to sort my chests in such occasions^^

The idea that monsters come out at night is heavily rooted in minecraft. This is not even a confirmed feature in b<. There is no reason to assume that you could not do other things like tend farms, build, or explore at night with much more difficulty than during the day. I’d prefer sleep to act as a bonus logout, and absolutely not mandatory. I’d also prefer to sleep at day or night. Dreams… totally unnecessary.

In MC multiplayer, skipping night time was only possible when everyone slept at the same time… I can’t imagine trying to convince 300+ people on one server to all get into bed so we could skip the night phase at the same time… it just wouldn’t work!

I also like the idea of some sort of buff for sleeping before logging out. Other games would give you some sort of experience buff, but don’t think that would apply in B<. Some sort of buff … just don’t know what…

I think it was mentioned at som point that we should expect monsters that appear at different times, but night shouldn’t be harder than day or anything.

God how i love the sleepvoting plugin.

About dream: I don’t really feel that it would add anything to the gameplay experince, so nah.

I think the night should be harder in the sense that the players might just not be as adapted to it as a nocturnal predator for example. Just not artificially harder.

I don’t think it’s really necessary,I think it could be cool. Instead of 10min mind numbing dreams,we just have 10-15sec little visions about what happened to the Oort. Like when your lv-1 you have a ā€œDreamā€ about the Oort in their prime, but when your lv-15 you have a ā€œDreamā€ about when they started to have their downfall. As you level up,the more you discover about what happened to them.I think that could be a cool new way to tell the lore in the game, and just another reason to level up.
How about that @sikerow?

But what about the other players thats not sleeping the night needs to be the same for all
