Yeah after the earlier discussion with econodog I moved my basket to 1000c.
It seems a fair offer for someone not hunting. Running with a good group this morning, we had an early delay with a couple regions triggered but I think a group like that might pull 200/hour.
Based on analysis in the other thread that makes 750 still pretty reasonable. Nonetheless I’m happy to pay well until I hit my target.
If I get 900 canes I’ll back off and see what develops after the event. Thanks to a generous gift, a couple I got, and the hunt this morning I’m approaching 300 canes.
EDIT: Heh, looked at BUTT and no matter what price you put someone will push up.

Oh awesome. I’m out out of the game for now but I’ll tally up later.
Running with a group wasn’t as bad as last time, the snow is still irritating but a lot less tension on my part - some physical issues have improved since I moved a couple years ago.
Thanks for dropping some in they’re definitely appreciated.

@Redlotus - IIRC there weren’t that many red ones there, I forget but maybe 100? If you’ve still got them, can @georgegroeg have them? Thank you again for the salvage work there!!

Also, my $.02 on the canes - either rebalance the red cane recipes, or make them a very rare drop from hat mobs. I think the latter would be more fair for those who can’t handle the snow fights, if you make it where you really have to grind them out, like maybe a 2-5% chance of a red cane drop instead of green.

I’ve definitely become an advocate for conversion. Whatever the balance/ratio would be it would allow people to put their effort where they can and then still choose what they want to craft.

I’m buying canes @1200 a piece because they are worth that much and it needs to be high enough to make ppl wanna sell. I bought them for the same last year too!

Hey no complaints really - I feel sort of bad when there’s a market shaping up and I come and push the price up 25 - 30% but hey, it does seem fair and I do want the product. If it’s still low enough that people want to compete - no problem.
Plus I’m over halfway to my goal now

I would like them, but don’t really have the time to hunt and its not fun… also the drop rate is really bad in addition. But I can’t afford them either. I currently have 
12K coins 
just watch me soon spending them on few shards because my TNT portal shutdown
