The EU server is currently offline - just getting “Error 5 : Game Server is currently offline” message when trying to start

same problem ,but at the loading screen, “Retrieving player world” since 5minutes
Same for me. Stuck at the Retrieving player message.
Back online again.

i need 5-10 minuts to load… i think something is wrong maybe ?i have dsl 50k and this load problem only since yesterday evening
Game was recently updated. It’s possible you were loading during this.
Try restarting Steam and reconnecting to the game.

Have you simply tried restarting the game a few times?
Ok now I’m in - I did a full reboot of my machine (although I’d only just booted it up when I was first trying to login).
It’s possible we broke something. I know we tweaked some connection retry code - maybe it got tweaked too much! We pushed it out quickly in an attempt to resolve the problems for new players with fresh installs. But that’s still causing problems. If it happens again please send me your log.
Still having problems here trying to connect to US-E. Stuck on “Connecting to discovery server…”. Tried rebooting Boundless and my machine several times.

I think you’re all hitting the same issue. The Discovery Server (which is responsible for assigning players to worlds) is failing.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the game worked for me!

i have yesterday reinstalled and have now the same same problem again ^^
