Explorer's Fist crafting requirements?

I’m Confused on requirements to Craft Explorer’s Fist
Is it so that there is a “game package” I’m to pay for (say it isn’t so) in order to craft a fist? The game’s "Knowledge " section is unaware if this is true. I find only old and odds & ends posts on this topic. Any input, please? Thanks much

Anyone can craft the iron Explorer’s fist. You need a special package to craft the gold explorer’s fist.

Excellent, and thank you! So wondering why it won’t show in my workbench… Hmmm. I have weapon crafting Lvl 2, ideas?

You may need a skill point or two on the weapons crafting skill to see it…I don’t remember.

You need more skill points, I think.

The Explorers fist (Iron fist) required you to be an early backer of the game, and as such can no longer be crafted by brand new players. However you are free to purchase them from other players who can craft them. It requires Weapon crafting level 1 skill.

The Gold Fist is the deluxe edition of the game reward, can be crafted by anyone with a deluxe edition of the game. It can also be purchased by anyone from players who can craft them. It requires Weapon crafting level 2 skill.

Hope that clears it up

Am I considered an early backer? I started playing when it recently released on steam and I have always been able to make the iron fist. After deciding I liked the game, I bought the deluxe addition so I could make the gold fist.

There we go, shucks!! Lol They seem, and I should check shouldn’t I before getting so worked up, but they seem so much more durable than slingbows. I tend to run through those, both my iron and gold (those have been the easiest for me to craft)

Req’s:

The fist weapons are fun, they have much shorter range, fire much slower, but hit harder. Kind of like a shotgun. They cap out at gold though and don’t have as many skill tree buffs as sling bows so they aren’t viable late game. They also damage blocks which sounds positive at first but ends up being negative as you accidentally chip away at your home base or fill your inventory with one off blocks you don’t want to collect.

If you can pick up an iron one from a shop for ~350c or a gold one for ~650c then have some fun but if you want to invest in a hunter build the sling bows are the way to go

and they only cost 150 to 200 in the market I dnt even waste my time making them do to how cheap they are now.

I can craft a bunch for you if you have material for it. I have about 50 in my inventory rn.

Um, please don’t nerf me if this is wrong lol. I LOVE playing Boundless, have 1000 hours on steam, have spent $$$, and plan to do vids after I move.

Not everyone can make iron fist those are for early backers of the game the gold fist you have to have ps4 deluxe version

I play on PC/steam and I make gold fists. I was able to make iron fists before that.

Lucky you I can only make the gold

I Wish I could craft either, wish there was an upgrade option for the PS4 version!

I used to think this too then I put extra range on a fist and now the bow only comes out on one of my hunters if I require a specific element.

I gave a gold fist to one of my friends to forge for me (I don’t forge, yuck). When it was done, I fell in love and forgot about slingbows. :star_struck::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

Shop around, I’ve bought them for 110 for iron and $500 for gold in Angel… I’ll edit this post with the shops name.

Edit; Shop is “Temple of Commerce” can access via Ultima hub.
