OK I have my exotic yams set up to the right appropriate set up at four wide and on the sides is thorns and water and petty that is tiled I just harvest and lost a good bit of my seeds to replant this is what it looks like before harvest

Is this gonna be fix cause my boyfriend had the same issue with the wheat seeds awhile back ago and now I have experience this bug with the exotic yams
The seed yield in your context says 70% return o.0
Your seed yield is 70% due to the thorns… and it looks like you lost 30%ish of your seeds…
You will need to remove all your thorns and you will have 100% seed yield, I.e. you will get all your seeds back.
This is for crop to keep reproducing harvest when I remove the thorns it drops the crop yield down to 188% and seed to 80 I want this to be crop yield I crop and still be able to get seed to replant didn’t get how I am losing seed when I harvest
It’s a tradeoff between crop yield and seed yield! I think this is fixed if you reduce the crop width to 3 and use farming epic to get to seed yield 100%+. You get less crops for each harvest but you keep getting seeds back every time
Nah the farming epic only affects crop yield, not seed. But yeah the rest of what he said sums it up.
70% seed yield means that you only get 70% of your seeds back and lose 30%. You need to make changes to get seed to 100% and like fallon says I think making it only 3 wide will help.
I cant really tell you exactly the problem as I’m on my phone and it’s too small to see your pic clearly. I’ll have a look on PC when I get home in an hour or so if you havent solved it by then.
I went to the farming school if I want stainable I have to do water gleam and tilled peaty to get 168% crop and 100% seeds ty guys for the help farming is frustrating me a little bit I appreciate the help
