Farming Endeavour

I may be completely late to this party, but I created my own guild for myself and all my alts. I currently have 13 characters al together, but plan on having more in the future. I am running my own buffs at lvl 2 and coin is not an issue for me, I am pretty lucky there. The biggest grind is the Endeavour, but I thought I would share how I have been managing to earn enough to maintain my buffs, and it only takes me a short amount of time to do it. Thanks to HOST and others who have their XP farms, I have been running my alts few a few portals per week. I just watch the Endeavour count as I go. I use a teaching pie and open any rewards I get along the way. The further you go into the XP farm the XP gets exponentially higher, as does the Endeavour earned. For example, yesterday I ran all my characters thru one of HOSTS farms, on Jinabean, I opened some rewards and went from portal 32 to 35. I earned my 500 in just a minute’s time. I just park my alts there so I’m returning to where I left off in the sanctum. I also, keep notes so I know where everyone left off.

Anyway, I used to just grind my alts thru for leveling, but at this point in my game I need Endeavour. I don’t know if anyone else has thought of earning it in this way, so I thought I would pass it on.

I play on PC and PS4. I’ve been on PS4 since launch so that account has 10 and my PC account has 3 at the moment.

ah ok. 2 accounts…ty. i only play on pc. ty.

Even with one account, 10 toons can earn 5K. Which is a good amount to run some buffs.

When I was in a solo guild, I had a series of furnaces set up.

I would just cycle the characters, and have them each cook an appropriate number of earthyams.

Not necessary. You can log into your same account on both PSN and Steam. Though each device will need it’s own characters, that would be beneficial for this. Additionally, if you have or have access to multiple accounts at the service, you can family share (or whatever it’s called) also.

You only need two boundless accounts if you want to play with yourself, or have more characters than your various logins permit.

@ginabean thank you for your kind words, however, there is a slightly easier way and it requires just 1 character but the best would be 2 chars or a friend, and this works on PlayStation and Steam.

have 1 character stand for example on Dzak near the future portal
create a character on your other account but make sure the accounts friended each other.
then while creating pick the option to add friends when you pick location pick start near a friend
this way you warp on the same spot as ‘‘your friend’’
NOTE: you cannot start on a sovereign world as starter world
once you are there make sure to join the necessary guild then go through Regions 1 to 10, buy yourself a pie after Region 10, and continue until you reach 500 endeavours.
now comes the fun part!
go sanctum, delete your character, and repeat!

so in short

add your friend on the 2nd account
warp to him/her
join the guild
go through the region XP to fulfill the 500 endeavour
go sanctum and delete the character
and repeat until you get sick of it.

I’m in no need of the endeavour because the guild gains enough
but i have helped a few people with this method

I have my own guild with 6 alts in it.
I earn plenty endeavour doing this:

  1. daily log in with each alt to collect the daily xp bonus (iron chest); its 6k xp with a teaching pie;
  2. do a few little things (crafting, gathering, complete one meteor, do something towards a feat or complete an objective) - to get additional 4k and get the 10k iron chest that will be collected the following day

From there I play more using an alt of my choice and doing more of whatever I want to do (building, meteor hunting, mining, going to an exo).
Going through 6 alts to get 10k xp each takes me 20 to 40 minutes. Even if I don’t have time to play much on any given day, I do that at least.

NOTE: on the first day of each Boundless week (which is Thursday), I don’t have to do anything but collect the iron chest (daily xp bonus) and the golden chest (weekly xp bonus). Collecting them both immediately gives you a new XP iron chest to be open the following day and a new gold chest to be open the following Thursday to start off a new week.

This cycle of xp chests provides a lot of endeavour on daily basis even with less than 10 alts.

BTW - if I discover a new xp farm on someone’s world, I don’t finish it in one go. I plant my alts there and visit only as many regions as needed to get to 10k xp (after collecting the iron xp chest from previous day).
Think about it this way:

  • if you do entire xp farm in one go, you only get one iron xp chest (for hitting 10k xp that day): this is 6k xp from that chest on top of your entire xp from completing the xp farm
  • if you visit just enough regions to get the iron xp chest every day, then the entire xp region farm gives you several xp chest in the process (around 30 chests, so around 200k extra xp comparing to completing the region farm in one go)

The same with crafting. If I don’t need a massive amount of something, I won’t craft it in one go. I can go to my storage, pick up a small bunch of something (oort stones, metal bars etc) and craft smaller batches towards future needs. Again - if I craft shards worth 100k xp in one go it will give me 106k xp (the shards and the iron chest daily xp bonus). But I can craft that amount over 10 days, 10k xp worth every day, meaning that the same 100k xp bunch of shards unlocks 10 iron xp chests, meaning that the same crafting task of 100k xp also gives me additional 54 k xp (comparing to when I craft it and collect it n one day).

LONG STORY SHORT - do a lot with your main alt whenever you need to do a lot (building, crafting, mining - whatever it is).
Use other alts to do tasks in small steps every day, to collect your xp chests every day, while not spending too much time on it.

I can’t wait for population to rise so guilds can get more active players, so farming endeavor won’t be as needed. Good tips all around though
