How will animal farming work in boundless sams for plant faring. Will it be like minecarft or will it be something more advanced. Is being a farmer a role that a player can take in boundless

Farming is not currently planned for the release of 1.0
It is, however, something that the devs have expressed a lot of interest in not only doing, but doing right … so basically not just a half-cocked interim implementation, but a fully planned future feature. It’ll be some time after 1.0 (which should be towards the end of this year).

I’m glad you brought this up @cocopuff210 I had been wondering about this kind of feature as well! I think the more variety of jobs and roles available, the more players will really sink into the immersion of the game itself, so I definitely understand their desire to take each role slowly and do it right.
I have always loved cooking/farming in mmos and sandbox games alike, with very few exceptions, so I would love to see this implemented eventually
