Feather Falls Mob Farm

Now I understand why everyone is sitting idle on Kol Huroo
I’m in!

Kind regards,

I appreciate that it is running still. There are a lot of little efforts and contributions in the game that just don’t get enough credit. Appreciate you @AlexxChristo

I’m realizing now how little time is left on my gleam club, I’m realizing how little time I’ve been spending playing boundless now and how little my shop is ever visited by other players.
I know this might hurt but I think this is the last 6 days of Feather Falls…
I just don’t really feel like I have it in me to keep working on this game, it’s been a grand time getting to hang with you all and share my insights about all the spawning mechanics and wonder about this game.
I’m pretty sure the final destination for the game at this point, writing on the wall is maaad clear at this point- game has been a great source of joy for me over the years but it’s time i think now to move on, the developers (or lackthereof) have pushed me into giving up the game, unless the devs have got some kind of roadmap or gameplan that they can show us within that timeframe- i just don’t think i can justify more of my time being used on a game the devs don’t want to put time into.

& for those wanting so desperately for me to donate them things or such and such locations, no. I’m also not donating FF to anyone at this point. that’s more for my own sanity because after i’ve left the game I’m not going to be answering anymore questions about Boundless spawn mechanics for players that the devs don’t want to explain it themselves

So long and thanks for all the feathers!

just use the advanced beacon fuel to feed beacon?

honestly, i dont even know where your shop is?

i remember the beginnings, i remember the prototype  i remember days when FF were players packed, remember sometimes, even regurarly there were few hours long loot fallings

itll be sad to see it going, it clearly showing your passion to make creatures drops available to everyones outside the hunts

if you dont care about it anymore please let someone to feed a beacon? allign to a guild? or give beacon perm to MrsStar? i know she making loot falls

or… you know?

So sorry to hear you throwing in the towel, but I understand your reasoning.
But so many of us love visiting the FF site everyday for that dose of pulling, and would love to take care of it afterward. If you have a change of heart and would open a way to let others fuel it, trade plots, whatever, you’d be leaving a great legacy. If not, so be it. Will still remember you for the good life it had. But please don’t hate us if we do a little resurrection afterward! (Phoenix Falls? )
Godspeed!

I am also very sad to see it go, but understand the frustrations of the game. I also understand not wanting to pass FF to anyone else. I would have offered to replot it to keep it alive, but totally get it. I let everything I had ash at one point myself due to the lack of communication.

Either way, sorry to lose another great player, safe travels.

It breaks my heart to see this because I remember when it was new. But I understand your reasonings . Just know you will be missed very much.:star:

really sad to see you go, but fully understand why.

I’m going to post this here rather than reply to the messages people are trying to send me.

I’m going to state again, no.
I’m not going to hand over fueling perms or try to transfer becaons.
if the devs had ever cared about their own game they would have put in systems that made this sort of stuff easier for players.
I’m also not going to have someone with fuel perms forget to fuel one of the beacons and suddenly a quarter of the building is gone while everyone scrambles trying to figure out how to fix it, messaging me freaking out about details of a game i will have since walked away from. it’s like leaving a job- i’m not going to check back in that things are going well around the office.

I’m not mad at the players, i’m furious with a dev team that abandoned this game for one that has 0 interest to me and another team that can’t seem to organize together to keep any games they buy running effectively.

I’ve got the money to fuel my gleam club again, it just comes down to “why would i”
I’m still waiting on a dev to give me an answer, or any answer.

I suppose it’s a personal choice since we are all typing things out in this post, I’ll continue my DM here.

I went through the same issue and as I mentioned before I quit for 4 months fully intending not to come back because the community was promised there would be more communication and here, we are in the same boat as before and that is a hard pill to swallow let alone something I am willing to throw more money at.

I came back because the game just clicks for me and is just a chill game where I can relax, I think a lot of us need a game like that where we can just relax. That said, I also came back because it’s a great community. I’ve always had someone go to bat for me when I needed something and are more than willing to help me out even after I quit and came back.

I don’t think anyone feels you are mad at the players, but everyone understands your frustrations with Monumental. Passing FF to someone in the community would be the smart play, but it’s also a personal choice, I came back because I inherited a bunch of stuff from others with the sheer intention of redistributing it out to the community one way or the other.

If you can find it in your heart to pass FF to someone, I know many of us would appreciate it, but either way it will live on we can rebuild it.

I wish you much luck in your endeavors and appreciate all your contributions to the community.

Well it sucks to see you go. But I fully understand your feelings about the game. I wish they’d just say something. But who knows, maybe they want us all to quit. I’ve been playing a lot less myself due to real life things.

As for giving FF away. Definitely don’t. Let someone figure it out on there own. Lol. Anywho. I’m sure I’ll still catch you in voice sometime. :v::beers:

Agreed. I bet you had fun with it. Someone else will get to as well if you let it all burn

I wasn’t going to say anything, but I had the same idea, but if the great inventor Ovis is going to make a new one though I’ll totally watch that happen

Hey bro. I understand your feelings and I am sad to see you go. I remember the very first iteration of feather falls and deaths caused but rampaging wild stocks that survived the drop. Good times  thank you for the great memories and the awesome adventures of playing boundless with you. And thank you for making Boundless fun. o7

Can I keep FF refuled?

read back. bummer.

Where is your shop?

Since I’ve had more than just a few people reach out and offer tons of different solutions and ask for FF to remain, I fueled my GC just so i can have a few months to figure out a guild book that i can assign people to that will give multiple people permissions to fuel and gather the coins off the beacons. I don’t want to take away from the community so it should be easy enough to solve this issue with some teamwork. I’m still looking to step back from Boundless but I don’t want it to negatively effect the friends I’ve made over all these years.

Thank you for the kind words from a lot of ya’ll. I’ll be trying to message some of the regulars soon and getting those people assigned to a guild book that can manage the farm.

Insert picture of tons of Oortians I killed once upon a time while having to rebuild the farm.
