It would be nice if we could craft a few more light source blocks that emit a much wider radius of light to light up bigger areas. The current ones drop off far too quickly and make if extremely difficult to light a large area without having to place hundreds all over the place. Even in a room that’s only 6 blocks high I’m having to put lanterns and gleam on both the ceiling and the floor just to get an even light distribution.

not to mention the “skull laterns” might as well not even be a light.
Totally agree, some more options for things like street lighting would be appreciated also

Yeah would really like to see this introduced too. Or perhaps some sort of directed light, ie it is a tight beam of light that only spreads out once it hits a block.
