Along with an earlier suggestion I had made about the possibility of having a forged icon on forged gear in your inventory to differentiate between items; comes a follow up to that thought.
The ability to name only forged gear? For example; “Thor’s hammer” or " death’s slingbow".
I understand that an addition like this wouldn’t be implemented till after the more pressing issues have been eradicated, but at minimum it’ll be available for pulling out if searched for such an idea later down the road once this topic gets buried down the ladder of other, more current news posts.
Maybe not an icon, but the background of every inventory item is red. So if that was say,…green for example instead, might be a bit easier to tell also.
On a side note, accidentally bought someone’s forged hammer today from a shop while buying regular tools =0 don’t remember which shop but it was in with a stack of regulars.
I think it’d be pretty cool if there was a hidden set of forge stats that auto named the item.
Take your Thor’s Hammer for example. What if you crafted a hammer with just the right stats…and BAM, you’ve discovered Thor’s Hammer, it auto names itself.
This could allow some lore injection. Maybe the Great Oort hunter had his slingbow, or the Oortian crafter of yore’s great chisel?!
