My boyfriend is in need of a forged totem stick that does AOE and nothing else so you can use it for farming of his crops. How much would somebody charge for for those?
Some forge wooden axes and such with that as well…

AOE wood axe is the way to go for farming. The damage is so low you don’t break any of your farm blocks.

Since I’ve started Forging, I can appreciate unique forges. Is it easy to get 0 damage tools? I assume it’s ALOT of rerolling?

Not that easy. But if you have action speed and durability it increases the chance of getting the damage debuff. And I think you need the damage debuff to be level 3 or 4 with the lower damage of the AOE will get you zero damage. Amethyst tools are easier to do as they have less base damage.

So if there is no damage done, does the durability stay the same or does it still go down with each hit? Never tried a zero damage tool before.

Durability works the same.
Forging Totems just for farming is expensive. The amount of resources for such a low durability tool is not worth it.
You are better off using a wooden Axe or Hammer. Even then thats pushing it. But it requires less resources to forge.
Personally i like AoE Topaz Axe or Hammer with Lv 8 Durability. As long as your character doesnt have any damage skill points you wont break anything.
Wwat do people use for farming star berrys? i have been using a copper shovel in each hand as they are in single rows, and the axes seem to too easily break the trellis, totems have too slow action speed to be able to constantly walk along each row… Interested in trying to forge some 0Dmg azes, but I feel I would only get one stack made before pulling my hair out.
