Hi all, just wondering if this is normal. I thought I was forging a decent auto door spanner, with 7 points into energy reduction and 9 points into durability. But this is what I get, -1170 durability. No it didn’t have any defects or quirks.

the autodoor buff takes away 90% of the spanner durability, it’s part of the effect yes. It is so that you dont buy one autodoor diamond spanner and have it for eternity… I am not sure how it stacks with durability buff though.
Edit - mind changing title to “autodoor spanner” for clarity?
Nah, that’s not a bug.
It’s even mentioned in Jiivita’s video for update 223. I think they changed it since then, too, because on testing, apparently, you couldn’t apply a durability boon on an auto-door spanner at all.
Thanks for the replies guys, yeah I found out via discord that it’s normal. First time I’ve made one, so I was like WTF my good spanner is a piece of junk. Live and learn
