Forging prices

Could we use AI & neural net to run forge sim until we get best forging method?
Could we loop it in Matlab?

I’d expext the following “guides” out of it:

  • cheapest forge for a specific item
  • fastest forge (lowest RNG)
  • recipe tailored to specific need - can spit a percentage and average cost for an AoE dura hammer for example

Regards,

I tried the AI method, there was just too much rng and latent effects (something that happened 20 rounds ago can affect what you should do now) that my skills weren’t enough to configure the neural net in a way that worked.

Well, how about brute forcing then? Depends on how many simulatons you can perform…

Regards,

If you had infinite time, could be doable. But testing just one order requires a thousand samples to get a good result. When you combine that with the amount of ingredients there are and the total number of combinations they can be used in… Good luck

Anyone having access to a supercomputer?

Regards,

Another problem would be quirks, they’re pure random, have fun finding the best method for forged goods with them :stuck_out_tongue:

Corpse in RL get a crapton of legal buffs and those keep getting bigger; worker-owned co-ops are gonna wipe the floor with them soon.

Same here; I stocked up and still have them. I also cleaned out a lower tier of something or other a fewish months ago from your shop near TNT Circa.
