Is the only way to travel to Exo planets via the sanctum, and then also have to pay the coins to open a portal each time you go there?

Yes. Basically …

First visit you need a warp augment, after that you can warp to a saved location each time. This is possible with warp blocks - bypassing the sanctum but not the fee.

If you’re going with a group, you can use a shared warp. Someone taking you there can bypass the need for an initial warp augment/location as well.

Also once you’re there there is no beacon (campfire) or plotting allowed, which also means no portals. You can only take what you can carry.

OK thanks for the info.
Also, do the resources respawn like normal planets, or once they’re farmed/mined they’re gone?

There is no regeneration, except with bombs. Regen bombs restore anything they would normally, which is mostly blocks but not resources.

The special liquids are resource blocks, they’re also excluded.

Great tree For ancient.
Shame that exos dont rly have any color value.

Ill just skip every exo nowadays if theres no higher tier ores.

im not farming exos anymore, usually just warp there only for resin and flowers  spent there max 1 hour and never return

I’m thinking about heading out to this one for some copper. It looks like it might be better than alcyon.

Scanned it.

Copper is about the only thing that made this one worthwhile for me. I came back with 6 ss in about 2.5h.

NGL I warped into a rock field and I was like "a white burn exo :smirk: "

Naaaah - just snow.

Snow.

And magic meteors

I don’t think I’m going to bother mapping this one before I mine.

EDIT: Yeah no worries about the atlas, I’m here for copper

A double post for a quick review. After most of a mega fast and 3/4 of a hammer:

  • 2260 copper
  • 686 iron
  • 158 silver
  • 57 large fossil
  • 84 medium fossil
  • 127 medium coal
  • 5 leaves (inky and fibrous)

Leaves? Yes Leaves. The caves are leafy :frowning: I don’t like hammering leaves. Overall the mix is good, 56 - 24 altitude, lots of goodies and easy to pay for the trip. After I fill up though I’ll return to Alcyon.

I wandered up there for some light blue goo but it was harshing my Christmas buzz so I went home and started a building that is so darn ugly so far I should burn it for warmth ;))))

Yeah the trip will be “profitable” (I’ll actually use the metals and fossils) but it’s not a planet I like.

The Best place To farm is the Forgotten land… And that i mean… Flan :see_no_evil:. You should try. Lots of iron In there and copper :sunglasses:

Every Exo has color value if it has goo. 4 stacks every exo ur rich. Even 1 stack pays for the trip by more than a large margin.
