I mean, if Majorvex just keeps selling it at a lower price, she could theoretically completely empty out the pockets of resellers. And then they just have a bunch of oort that they can’t resell at a profit lmao.

My beacons seemed to of stopped showing up on BUTT not sure why.
But there is some more in stands at this time.

Yeah its just through-out the day the stands will go missing. They have not shown on BUTT at all today and its just my beacons on Gellis not showing. Other beacons on other planets show though.
If you get to needing more there are several of us willing to sell you some at the lower price and several will donate if you get in a pinch

That’s because I’m a blunt person and tend to be honest with people about what they need. That honesty gets me into trouble as well, but it’s usually worth it.

OK my dear Oortians: from now on, until I call it off, whoever runs into one of my alts in game will be able to buy 100 rough oort stones from me for a price of 100 or 200 coin (meaning 10,000 or 20,000 coin for the 100). If I happen to have 100 oort stones on me, you will get it for 200c per. If I don’t, you will have to follow me to my base, where you will get it for 100c each.
Thought it might be fun to do it this way

That’s fun, i had thought of a “hand trade for a lesser coin amount” but i doubt my supplies are deep enough for that, so long as I hunt at least once a week I can keep my current shop investment afloat though, so there’s that lol

I mostly wanted to make sure there is no situation when one player buys off entire shop stand if I did it that way. I’d rather give small amounts to multiple players, should they manage to meet me (I am in game on daily basis for 1-2 hrs and I do see people when running around so hopefully I will be giving oort to some).
The idea to give it to random people during unplanned run-ins was just something that came to me when I started posting. At first I wanted to say that whoever sends me a message to arrange a meet can get some oort.
Then I changed my mind to the random tradees. That way it can be something different (in a good way I hope).

So is this issue only with Oort or is there a bigger issue with prices across the whole shop environment? Sorry, I haven’t kept up fully on this thread.

generally it’s a global problem across entire market, but people just tried to “fix” the oort price by voluntarily lowering prices in that department
in the end, affordable oort means more portals and that means easier access to the universe, be it shops or recourses - the rest of the market can remain expensive as long as the most crucial part is cheaper (I guess)

not necessarily - some building materials seem to stay at the same price levels; so do foods
however, high tier creature drops are expensive, meaning forging gets expensive

It’s in general. Everything is more expensive as there is less of everything and like with any game with an economy people are going to play the market to make coin. Oh @Xaldafax is selling hopper cores for 100c, but @boundmore is buying them at 700c.
I mean you know all this, but sadly the supply and demand is lower so with less competition overall the prices tend to be higher.
