Is there any type of glass that is see-through in water. I’m trying to do some build underwater and I want to be able to see my surroundings.
I have done many tests on this matter panes are more translucent then blocks
Not sure but you could try black glass panes or go for the color pane that matches the color of the water (as water has a different color on each planet. You need just one block in your inventory to see its color.)
You can go for full blocks but don’t chisel them as they react weird at certain angles.
Again not sure…
[not sure how to write it pan pain “the flat glass”] [edited it]
What i do is make multiple text spots 9 x 9 blocks and test differnt. Panes black color or there is a blue that is just about clear
Thank you! I will try that.
Remember that you can go to a creative world to test colors and materials. I use Janus, which is on the main worlds floor of TNT megahub.
All good if atmosphere influence and water color is the same .
On Lamblis for example to get a “brown” color i have to use hot orange. (Timber outside of my build)
Because the blue/green atmosphere interface.
