Gleambow Racing Event Guide 2025
What is Gleambow Racing?
This limited-time event rewards speed and skill as Citizens chase down unique Gleambow Meteorites made of colorful natural blocks. To harvest them, youâll need a Gleambow Totem, craftable in a Workbench. Itâs the perfect chance to gather vibrant blocks and exclusive rewards to decorate your builds.
Once youâre done chasing Gleambows, relax in your Beacon and craft the special decorative props available only during this event. Donât forget to check the Exchange for Gleambow-themed wearables to show off your racing spirit.
How Does Gleambow Racing Work?
⢠Worlds: On ALL Rugged and Inhospitable LUSH worlds, all meteorites are replaced by Gleambows.
⢠Appearance: Gleambows streak across the sky with spectacular multicolored trails. Rarely, you may encounter a pure Gleam or Glass Gleambow.
⢠Time Limit: Once a Gleambow lands, you have only a short window before its blocks revert to the natural colors of the world. Everyone dormanting them does help increase the timer or maintain the same timer. You will lose time if you complete the meteor.
⢠Movement: Sprint, grapple, leap, swim, and buff your way across the terrain to reach them in time. Using Mega Fast Brews, Persisting Pies, Agility and Falling Armour skill points to maximize the durability of your Totems, Grapple, and Slingbows. Falling Armour helps reduce the chance of you dying from smacking into trees or the floor from cuddleâs using their magical powers to lift you high in the air to drop.
Tools & Challenges
⢠Gleambow Totem: The only tool capable of breaking Gleambow blocks. Craft several to stay prepared. AoE, Speed, and Durability are great forge traits to have for those that collect blocks.
⢠Gleamtrunks: Strange, colorful Cuttletrunks spawn during the event. Theyâll try to slow you down, but defeating them can yield useful drops for future races. They are extremely weak and can be easily taken out with a normal totem hand crafted from your inventory. You will need control bonus skill points to reach if using tools to kill them. Otherwise, Silver Swift Slingbows are best with Multishot, Range, and Durability forged traits to collect those beautiful mutated gleambow sacs.
⢠Forged Grapple: Emerald Grapples are the best for their long range and reel in. If you can get a forged one with additional Projectile, Range, and Reel In/Out, then you are golden. This is key to crossing harsh terrains.
