Gleambow Racing Returns! Commencing 21st May

Thanks for telling me. I guess i’ll be saving these sacs for display lol. You’d expect them to last longer.

I wouldn’t think so simply because it requires the seasonal item (the sac) to make them,

Is that 1 min with max zeal too?

Not max zeal, I think you can get it up to 1:15 to 1:30 with max Zeal

i would imagine it plays out as it is now.
augments were confirmed to work after the event too.

I think they will work, but they might only make the native ice color after the event

Well there went my only incentive to try a gleambow meteor. Oh well, I’ll wait for the next event and continue my base remodel.

Gleambow hunt shot - with cool Gleambow accessory from last time!

As long as everyone is cool about not smashing the meteor group hunts are good this time around. This will possibly lower the black gleam harvest too.

If lots of people cooperate these items might be very affordable by the end of the event. Being a slowpoke and catching a little over half a hunt got me 108 sacs. It definitely helped change my mind about the setup.

I am surprised that the buffs have such a short life but to be fair I also thought they would be harder to get. It’s also worth noting that the gleambow augment apparently has a 1 in 20 chance to summon a gleam meteor, which you still have to race for. To some extent this is seems to be balanced by people cooperating to make these sacs a lot more plentiful than I expected.

All in all, my first experience with this new version of the event went better than expected.

Are the gleambow meteors only on T3 and up Lush or any planet with meteors?

They spawn naturally on Boori, Xa Frant, Circ, and Biitula. They can be summoned on any T3+
(summoned meteor creatures don’t drop mutated sacs tho)

A tip for those hunting on Boori… there are some huge areas plotted, so if you are not seeing any dormant or completed meteors around you are probably in an area where they just can’t land so move to somewhere else where there are dormant and completed ones so at least you know they “can” land there.

And for those newer players who might think you can’t compete… many of the completed meteors are left intact if not gleam, so you can still get some other good color materials and both dormant and completed can give rough oort so worth the time to just scavenge meteor remains that are scattered everywhere.

Yep, was doing well on the Oort just grabbing up the dormants a little while ago!

Ditto, and with many other players around, if they arrive at a live meteor I am at… I let them have the meteor itself and I just kill the gleamcuttles for the drops :grinning:

Since Circ is T4, does anyone know if it is dropping bigger/more valuable meteors?

It does drop meteors. Size of meteor is determined by amount of hunters.
