Goo colors mutations

Hello to all of you

My paint shop Sweet Candy is now open in Kindred Bay, Sorissi.

There are four portals to go there located in Fireborn, DK Mall, PS Biitula and The Hunt Hive.

My shop is meant to provide limited supply of 100 sprays per color so if you don’t find enough of a colour you need, go check Powerman & Canadianeh Paints shop

Prices begin at 50c per spray can.

Have a great day you all

I am proud to open the door of my goo farm to the community

Here is the way to follow. Take the “Machines” portal first then go to the left, the “Paint Room” then use the door right to acces the portal to the goo mutation area.

If you’ve got any questions about the mutations, I’ll be happy to answer them

Some notes I’ve made in addition to the ones you’ve noted:

White The lightest shade of a color (Ashen, Weary, etc.) will often mutate to white in 1 step when planted in white gleam
Black The darkest shade of a color (Night, Shadow, etc.) will often mutate to black in 1 step when planted in black gleam
Blue Warm blue will often mutate to blue when planted in azure or cerulean gleam
Orange Warm orange mutates to orange in orange gleam

Edit to add: I haven’t been recording my results very diligently but I have about 15-20 mutation stations in my farms, I could do more if it helps. I’ve been mostly just trying to get to colors I like.

Yep, this falls under the “lightest shade of a color = white” section. I’d say this is the most common color I’ve used to make white.

What is the linear progression?

Cold>weary>light>warm>flat color>hot>warm>silk>stale>dark>night?

Have you figured out Strong blue?

Also, if you’re looking for deep red: hot cherry goo in deep red gleam = deep red like 90% of the time

How about to make cool grey?

Uhm, if I want to get to luminous yellow I simply plant goo onto luminous yellow and replant it until it is luminous yellow.

You guys realize that all you are doing is listing colors which are close to the goal color on the plot right?

If you want to mutate to a cetain color you can just take colors close to the color in a circle around it.
In fact you can take any color which will simply take multiple iterations if it is very far. If it is close like cobalt to blue or ashen shades to white etc. it will not take many steps.

PS: Its more fun to plant cherry onto fuchsia gleam and harvest rose color as result :3

Which blue dot is the Strong blue one?

Bottom right, inbetween lavender, deep lavender, blue and deep blue.
Cobalt, lilac and some violet shades are pretty close.

Sure this might help some people but knowing wich color will be the closest without doing all the mutations tests, like I’m doing on this post, will help too

Yes @PrincessMaude
“strong blue”
“strong lavender” too

  • dark lilac goo in strong lavender gleam = strong lavender
  • strong lavender goo in strong blue gleam = strong blue

Yes, I’ve tested that one for deep red too^^

“deep red”

  • hot cherry goo in deep red gleam = deep red

Hello community!

All the mutations results I’m giving in this thread are those I tested myself since goo came out (it means months of research) but there are multiples ways to get to a certain color.

If you find another way, please feel free to add it and also to add others mutations

Here is my collection of results (with input from a few friends also). I’ve added the ones you have listed in this thread as well, so thank you for sharing.
