Guild buffs for factions

Hey guys…little confused I assumed all faction members would benefit from the main guild active buffs providing they have been a member prior to activation of said buff.

If this isn’t the case does this mean each faction has to also buy buffs?

I understand the system in place to allow factions to have different buffs but I assumed if these slots weren’t used then the main guild buffs would apply to any faction members

That’s how it works, but faction members won’t get the buffs unless they are aligned with the faction as primary guild when the “buy buff” button is pressed on the main guild helix.

Ok so the catch is it has to be their primary guild and then they still benefit from main guild buffs?
