I was under the assumption that the mask was purely cosmetic like the waist band that every character wears

Its not a physical object that you can put into the forger, so its not possible.

Looking forward to the day I can stick my loincloth (or chestband, I’m not assuming anything) into a centraforge to “enhance” it. Like, maybe, a resistance buff I mean.

I would prefer to enhance my modesty coverings to be “heavier” if you get my drift. If you want lighter, that’s your thing. We all play the game differently.
