Small group of friends thinking about playing Boundless but all I can remember is beautiful places to explore, magic/item creation randomness/complication wasn’t worth the grind as items wear out too fast.
no idea when you stopped working but we have durability forged tools years already
Plus don’t forget you have Weapon Durability adds in your skill page.
I guess it depends on which gear you are talking about. Wood and Metal tools do have low durability.
Gems have the highest durability without being forged.
Things to help with durability… Persisting Pie (last I think 20-45 depends on Zeal Bonus), Durability Drain Epic (Reduces 30% Wear), Builders Buff Lv 3 from Guild adds 30% Chisel Durability reduction, and Forge can add up to 2000 extra Durability
A long long time ago you used to loose tons of durability on death, this is no longer the case, but it may have been that you tried to build up a forging deck and machinery was too much for your small group? I did this, and it took allot of work collecting everything to even be able to start forging, but once I knew what I enjoyed collecting, I had lots to sell… Also making the most of the different tools available to find where to collect what is very useful.
Its defiantly worth getting involved with the economy to speed things up, as well you can get tons of stuff as a handout…
You say 6 years, was it before or after the reclaim update?
