Ok, so after reading a few comments saying the tutorial/objectives are broken (if you do it before it comes up you have to re-do it anyway)
Allow a check box? or other choice for the tutorial I see this is the first time you are playing - would you like to give the tutorial a go? / **I see you are playing on an alt would you just like to get into things and skip the tutorial?
Objectives: Unless you can’t change it, it would be nice (as before) when you have done objectives before you know about them/come to them…
Have it so the sections you have done are Green and ticked off
Also have a HUD text saying you have just completed XX objective for those who automatically complete them previous to them being available
Like I said before, go ahead and have an option to skip the tutorial. However, if you skip doing it you also skip receiving the awards for doing the tutorial. No experience or other points, no money, etc. just move on to the first thing after the tutorial. Nobody should ever be rewarded for what they chose to not take the time to do.
I guess a counterarguement to that might be that it’s not worth one’s time to complete the tutorial objectives after having done them a large number of times.
If they are tutorial objectives that are intended to introduce a player to the game and reward them for it, why should a longtime player have to complete them over and over every time they start a new character but still want some starter cash/XP?
Just to mention another game EVE Online (sorry) the way the tutorial is done in that now is… you aare essentially seperate from the main universe (sort of like here - ever notice 24 hr day light uuntil you complete the tutorial?)
And the way its done is would you like to leave this instance? Be warned for if you do, you will not recieve the rewards and XXX that you will get from completing it
