I enjoy and cherish the fact that not only was our differences reconciled but we also found friendship this is why I love Xafrant!

Hello

We allowed our PS hub to go wild because the owner no longer plays. We were notified ahead of time and are already building an alternative hub. We have a temp hub up in the meantime.

We didn’t like the hub location we had because it was at the base of the a mountain, and with the EXO worlds we wanted people to easily see them and get to them from our hub.

The new location will keep that in mind!

Just to provide context for the move.

I never called myself poor I play to much for that to be the case lol. No see the irony here is you built by the road you claim to hate. I joined to you because I wanted you to msg me and we could work something out this is THEONLY way you could get a persons attention in boundless so thats why that was done. Like I said I would be more then willing to give you a hand and even show you how to make whatever farm you desire Ill even help you with mats because regardless how you or anyone feels I like helping folks. Sunday I built an entire Home for a brand new player not far from your farm. Im really happy to help you with anything just ask.

Norkyna like I said is being removed not today but soon.

What wall are you talking about? I only have a lava wall . If your talking about that giant black building yeah thats not mine

My biggest concern is people that want to have separate settlements being put into a “non-compact” situation just because they are close to another settlement. We shouldn’t be forced to join another settlement just because we have a buffer between us unless we enable the Settlement Opt-Out or something that allows people to keep their names.

Plot columns should be only counted on “the same account” and not considered across accounts. So if I am plotting beside someone and we leave a 4 wide plot buffer it shouldn’t be marked against us. Only situations where the same person is doing this should it hurt us.

At least that is how it is sounding at this point based on some plots I see…

I dont normally agree with you but I gotta say now your opt out option works but I alsso would add a cumulative prestige facctor per planet so ppl are not bound by any roads or unwanted attachers.

So basically your settlement could road or grow in different spot on a planet and the sum of all prestige would remain yours or your guilds only with not having to be confined if that makes sense?

what’s not useful to you might be to others  TDC is a guild and XaFrant is a guild these roads merge and are made by multiple different people not just me or him. this happens when you make friends and talk about expanding together and when 2 has a lot of plots this is the so-called (problem to others with no friends or fewer plots) that it is going to be an issue, I agree on my roads I do have to sort them I cannot deny that but we are in no way hurting anyone we are us and us is a team this means 90% of Xa Frant within the Crymoar capital there is 8 people spreading across the entire planet linked up together what do you want ‘‘US’’ to do is to remove these roads and be like well sorry some people don’t like roads so u will have to be separated from the capital. no sorry, that’s not the kind of game I play. like Conkuur said your place got plopped right against the buffer and its MY FAULT that you got connected because I told him to do so  if I see anyone plotting against the Crymoar capital I will and I repeat I will attach you without any questions asked. there’s plenty of space we don’t mind you being there just communicate and im 100% certain you have not done so with Conkuur. the thing is we are placed and put down as bad when all we require is communication, I’m not saying that I have not forced attachment in the past yes I have but that’s only when I’m being put down as baddy when this was not the case if you do this to me and talk about my back yes I will change my total behavior towards you and my entire gameplay towards you. communicate and be honest with me, and tell me straight up how it is wil get you more respect from me and we will come to a solution overal im playing the game for pure enjoyment also it shows that people assume to much and without reading the book cover they dig straight in.

Do my friends have a problem with someone?
yeah ok, that’s not my problem right?
just because we are friends doesn’t mean I have the same problem with that person.
if I get along fine with them whats the problem? just because others have a problem with him/her doesn’t mean I have to right?
and if these friends can’t accept this then they are no friends.
just don’t pick sides and tell it straight up how it is and what you think of it.sometimes overreaction creates useless arguments.

long story short.

I don’t have problems with anyone, I just have problems with people that have problems with me because they assume that I’m to blame without seeing for themself

incredible that great work, can you tell me what color is it that tells you that the beacon is not compact? purple? or yellow?

Thank you, yellow is bad

I was looking into my situation on Raxxa, and got a peak of anxiety when I saw my place was ‘yellow’.
So I’ve plugged some holes (in green on the map below, some I was planing to fill in the coming weeks, and the one on the right, I wasn’t even aware was there, dunno how this happened).
Same, I’ve removed plots indicated in orange, forgot they were there.

What’s left, and what’s most concerning to me, would be the space I’ve colored in purple, which is the reserved space of my neighbor who hasn’t changed his house over the past 12 months and only came back online to enable his plot protection while I was expanding my place plot by plot (hence the one orphan purple plot you can see).

So, does that mean my place would still be considered ‘uncompact’, because of the reserved plots? The plots considered as empty space, that I can’t fill, and that the player who basically owns them is likely never going to take? I’m pretty much waiting on his beacon to die out at this point…

This is currently my biggest concern if this is really the problem. Compactness should only be defined by a single players account and not multiple players accounts. That purple area should be allowed to stay in my view because maybe you don’t want to “annex” that person or “force settlement merges.”

It appears this feature might cause more problems or remove the benefit of buffers inside contested zones of settlements.

I am not sure though that this is how it works… but from what I can tell you shouldn’t be marked yellow with the above just because of the purple stuff.

When the developers discussed adjacency they refer to beacons and not plots so hopefully that include reserved plots associated with the beacon. But if that was true would the purple areas already have been blue?
It would be good to get clarification on this.

At this point, I wish there was something like "if the player hasn’t been online in X months (6 months? 9 months? 12 months?), then the plot protection is disabled, and as soon as the player comes back, the timer is reset.
I dunno, I’m sure it’s a bad idea…
I’m not proud to admit it, but I really hope my neighbor’s beacon dies so I can claim it all, rebuild a luxury house there in a new beacon, and if the guy comes back one day, I’ll gladly gift him the beacon. Right now, it’s just an annoyance.

Honestly, removing the orange part and filling in the greens probably put you well in the clear.

If it’s defined by a single persons account then a pure road through a settlement would be flagged. That would be mayhem.

This means I have to remove my entire settlement hahaha

It was specific to the dark orange he marked in his above picture. Maybe its red. Hard to tell on this phone.
