I would go with Gaz, but Durée is good too
they need to remove enough to fit Récup, so 5to8 letters to remove, i think cutting the fat in -vue d’ensemble- and -permissions- would be enough anyway,

In the optic of having shorter terms, in French, I could suggest “Général” instead of “Vue d’ensemble” for “Overview”.
For “Fuel”, you can go with “Carburant”, indeed, that’s the right word, but “Essence” is a word we use to describe fuel more commonly (at least in France, I pretty much never hear anyone say “J’ai besoin de carburant !”, we always use “essence”, and even then, we tend to shorten “carburant” to “carbu”, but I don’t think starting to use the familiar shortcuts would feel very professional). You could also use the word “Huile” (which is french for Oil), but I don’t know… a bit ‘meh’.
For “Reclaim”, I guess “Récupérer” works.
As for “Permissions” and “Options”, these work in French just as well as English.
Oh, “Énergie” for “Fuel” is an AWESOME word. Good find!

I agree with all of this and what do you think of just let “fuel” in French too? It’s even shorter.

Reclaim translates to pretty long words in german like “zurückholen” or “zurückbekommen”
My idea is to use “retten” which is the german word for rescue, salvage, recover
Changed “Berechtigungen” to short version of the word which is “Rechte”
In total it is a bit shorter than now

Info = INFO works perfectly in spanish too.
Fuel = ENERGÍA
Reclaim = RECUPERAR, RESCATAR
Permissions = PERMISOS, SEGURIDAD also ROLES would work
Options = OPCIONES or since its the last tab it could be MÁS or OTROS

Fuel is hard to make short in german, a word to use would be
ENERGIE, everthing else would be same amount but Shorter letters.
I would take
BEFUGNIS if i Need a Shorter word then Berechtigungen.
OPTIONEN is a well used word in german, but
AUSWAHL might be Abit Shorter?
INFO is INFO.
If RECLAIM means there are items in the tab, you could use LAGER…
PERMISSIONS would go with ERLAUBNIS
Well thats from me, i would understand the tabs and i think Germans would aswell.
German is a language of very Long words sadly
