As the title suggests, I’m working on my base and I’m experiencing a bit of “builders block” on how I want to build out the storage area of my base. The base is mostly refined iron with a titanium octigrid roof but I’ve built out and started chiseling a storage area as follows:
Inside of this storage area I’m at a loss. Originally, I was thinking about doing multiple levels with each level having “rooms” for storing various things like this:
Wow that’s a really nice setup and looks really awesome! Unfortunately, I’m not sure I want to do it by color as I’m not someone who cares that much about collecting colors.
This is my storage for items not color sorted. Seems to work efficiently for me as. Feel free to look in person via Maryx from dragon world hub and then portal with my name.
You could organize the crafting storage by machine type: workbench items, refinery items etc. Or follow the in-game categories, just like you showed in Knowledge menu.
I myself have divided crafting areas by type of items: weapons, tools, light, gems, bricks, wood based blocks, rock based blocks, food, brews etc. Each crafting category has its own storage.
I sorted resources by how they are acquired: hunting, gathering, mining (so: creature drops, plant and boulder drops, seam drops). Farming has its own storage system then.
