How do critical attributes stack?

Are critical attributes from my character or a recipe added in addition to the critical attribute of the item? Or are they percentage of?

Example:
Gold hammer has a base crit chance of 50%. My character has 3/8 agility which is 6% crit chance. And I eat a critical loaf which gives a buff of 80% crit chance.

So does this mean the gold hammer is now 100.8% (50%+6% * 1.8)?

Or 95.4% (50% *1.06 * 1.8)

Or something else?

Math is not my strong suit, but i do understand your math examples.

I’m intrigued to know the answer. Heck, just a passing glance would’ve suggested (to me) a 136% crit chance.

Aye. I’ve asked in Discord but no one knew.

Anytime I start a post that does a deep dive into the stats and attributes, it’s almost always met with silence. But start a post on how to nerf this or buff that, then a gazillion forum warriors chime in.

No joke… absolutely true.

Hey, you could always change the title into something way more clickbait-y.

“Prove my crit numbers wrong”
“My crit totally kicks your crits tail”
“Nerf my math”

Etc… lol
