How do you add steam friends if you skipped that option in the tutorial?

I think he means in game, and there is a way to do it but ive never done it :S
I think its in the character (tab) menu and then friends tab… there may be a button there.

Character Select > Click the character you are currently playing, should be a button at the bottom
