most of you guys have a specifick setup in the inventory and what does your look like this is mine
I logged in to find out and discovered it didn’t look like anything. I got no dialogs at all after using the portal menu to get to Gortnen. Scrolling the mouse wheel didn’t even show the active in-hand small menu changing the highlight. Needless to say, exiting the game was a small adventure involving Alt-Tab.
I tried to reproduce it, but couldn’t, so no bug report.
Umm i dont understand
When I pressed ‘P’ or Esc or Tab, I saw no menus of any sort. When I pressed Esc or Tab I saw my avatar (the handsome devil) but no options or inventory, respectively. The screen didn’t show text for my currently selected implement or block, and when I scrolled the mouse wheel to select a different implement or block, the small display at the bottom didn’t slide up to show me what I had selected.
I closed out the game and restarted it, and everything worked as expected. There’s no point in filing a support incident when I can’t reproduce the defect, so I didn’t. I should have captured screenshots, but I figured that I could do that if the situation could be reproduced.
You may have hidden your inventory by pressing . (dot / full stop). Pressing this again will cycle through the debug screens and the display of in-game menus etc.
Maybe. My memory is that I’d only pressed ‘I’ for infinite resources (a reflex when I log in), and then portaled to Gortnen. I wandered out to look at the scenery and noticed that something wasn’t right with the UI–and it’s entirely possible I could have hit the ‘.’ at some point.
–Two minutes later–
Yup. Somehow I hit ‘.’ without realizing it (I know I’m a sloppy typist, this doesn’t surprise me at all). I wish I had a cat on which to blame it, but I’m allergic to cats. (One of my friends has two cats and gets to use that excuse for typos.)
The infinite resources button has also moved to , (comma). Just when you get your muscle memory to do something instinctively, they go and change it ^^
