I can’t chisel compact gems (and hard coal), assumed this wasn’t implemented yet, but then I saw compact gems chiseled in Therka Market. Is this something only devs can do or am I missing a skill? (I got the full chisel skill tree mastered.)

Ah, yes, gotta get “Advanced Technology Recipes”. Don’t think I’ve seen them for sale in stores.
u would need a gem chisel so rarely that no one crafts a lot of it
I could craft some for you - just let me know if you are interested; having someone else needing them apart from myself, would make sensible to craft a bulk of 3 of each kind if possible; I would keep some and you would get some
