Feel like an idiot asking this, but when I try to destroy my beacon it says “remove all added plots first” i know its the only plot as beacons take 2 to place and make plots used for that beacon is 2. If i try use a beacon plot remover it says to " destroy the master beacon control to remove the beacon" what am I missing?
Campfires take 2 plots. Beacons take just the one it’s placed on.
I’m not sure about, what happens if you place the beacon inside the campfire plotted area, but it most likely took over the plots.
I would recommend, if the beacon is on the same plot, to remove the campfire. As for the plot remover, I think you’re basically targeting the plot that’s on the same plot as the beacon control. Try unplotting the adjacent plot first.
Thanks for the reply, the second one was hidden underneath. fell silly now, let this be a lesson folks.
Don’t feel silly I have chased hidden plots alot trying to delete them.
Easiest answer – place your campfire down in the block that is adjacent of where you really want to be. Then place your tutorial beacon down beside it and fuel. This basically creates 2 separate areas. Then destroy campfire and the 2 plots it puts down disappear. Then add plots to your new beacon tower. This is how I make sure not to chase plots at least in the start.
