Ok I have walk my planet from North to South but only 3 areas filled in on my atlas. Here is my atlas showing all the regions that filled in after I circumnavigated the globe from North to South.
Anyone knows why the rest did not fill in?

You need to travel to the center of a region to discover it. At the top if you are in an undiscovered region it will say something like North East of ??? so keep traveling South West to get to the center of the region and it will unlock.

That means the center of the undiscovered region is to the south.
