Sorry for your loss. It is a sadness that never leaves us. As my brother, Cagian, said we lost our father last September and it is such a sad feeling. If there is anything we can do at Coinland to help you out, just say the word. We’ll put a wee gift package together just for you. I’m sorry for your loss. Losing a Father is a terrible and chaotic experience. Remember to be honest with how you’re feeling even if it hurts. Grieve in your own ways. Then continue forward, showing the world the part of your Father that lives on in you.
I lost my Father to cancer as well. My reply is essentially what I had wished someone said to me when my dad passed, so that’s why I’m writing it here.

Thankyou everyone for the kind words. I planted my garden yesterday and put a few birdhouses up. His favorite thing was to feed and watch the birds. After I got done I cried like a baby. Just sobbed in my potato patch.
Today is a bit easier, my mom decided to have a celebration of his life on his birthday. She told me when he was unresponsive and on morphine she kissed his forehead and said Paul you have one foot on the other side it is time to put your other foot there too. She kissed him on the forehead and tears ran down his face, he took his last breath.
I am happy he is at peace in heaven.

I’m very sorry for Your loss Rosa. That last post made me indeed tear, I feel Your pain. Like many said already, its not easy, and the pain will always remain in our hearts when we lose someone close in our lives. But it will get easier over time. Yes, he’s now in a happy place and has not to suffer any longer 
All of us are true fighters! Its okay to be sad. In the end we gather ourselves together and keep fighting for ourselves and the people we hold in our hearts, no matter if dead or alive. We are here for You Rosa You’re not alone. I myself lost my brother too due to a car accident in 2010. And my mom has multiple sclerosis. So I can relate to You to some extent. Keep the positive memories and thoughts in mind

Speaking of car accidents I was in one a in July 2016 (hit by drunk driver) then the October of that year my dad got hit by one and died
