so when i click a topic and read the whole thng the title should turn gray you know that. when i do all that the title remains black and not grey
If it is a bug with the discourse it will probably fix itself with next update, anyway the pink and grey boubles indicators that show how many unread posts there is in a topic you follow should be enough right?
not understanding that fully but im asuming you mean if i read everything i read everything in a post
You should have something like this that shows how many unread posts there is in a topic.
If it has been set to tracking at least:
there isent it is just black text but it should be grey
No he means before you read the new posts.

Yea that’s how it should be.
That really is all the information you need to track what posts you have not read yet. If a topic have any interest set it to tracking so it notify you when there is updates.

I know what you mean when a topic is read the text should turn grey instead of black. Just saying that the discourse have much more practical ways of tracking what topics you haven’t read yet.
Note that if you’re viewing the forum on a different computer or phone, it won’t grey out read topics unless you’re also logged in there
I am pretty sure its not a bug. you know you have this thing in settings
So if you reply or you have read the topic for 2 minutes you will track if, it you finish faster than 2 minutes which sometimes happens. you wont track it.
What he is talking about is that they don’t turn grey like this:
