Beyond your initial idea, I think this brings up the question of whether or not we could have all KINDS of planets with unique rules and conditions - perhaps something between a regular planet and an exo in terms of lifespan, dimensions, etc.
Just as a hypotheticalā¦ Letās say next year around Oortmas, thereās a planet you can warp to with a dev-built ice palace at its center. Go there, pick up a token that grants you this 30x30 set of plots, maybe? And then go to town, because the planet has unlimited ice, snow, glass, etc. And then at the end of, say, a month, the event disappears.
Would be an interesting way to introduce Creative-Mode-esque rules into the live universe from time to time without overrunning the actual live planets. Itād also be interesting as a social gathering event. Granted, someone would eventually make a snow phallus and then youād have to wall them inā¦
The last Testing thread hinted at different modes of play that would be possible in the near future, and I wonder if this is a type of approach that theyāre considering.
