I wanted to say hello since I just started playing Boundless a couple of days ago after seeing it on my steam queue and opting in for the wayfarer package.
I am a gamer at heart who has been around since the Radio Shack Color Computer and Apple IIe back in the days as well as my first playstation. I really got involved with Everquest and havenât looked back since. I played quite a bit of Minecraft back in the day and recently was involved with Landmark before it was closed. The hilarious thing about MC and Landmark, is that I suck at building. LOL I honestly just enjoyed the simplicity of them though and being able to create things. Which has lead me to Boundless.
I chose my spot, albeit possibly a little too close, to the entrance to Aquatopia on the side where FlareQ13 has their property. lol If I need to move further out a little for the city to grow, please let me know. I enjoy the little objective we have to complete to get xp and coin. I am only near level 9 but I enjoy lone wolf most of the time after raiding in MMOS for a few years. The constant VOIP during raiding and, at times, the back and forth between players has worn on me after all these years.
Now if I may, a few questions about the lay of the land.
I see that we get coin and XP for completing objectives. Are there a lot of objectives, or just the few to start of with the basics of the game? I am guessing that XP is gained through out the game with gathering supplies and killing mobs for supplies.
Are there places in cities that have jobs listed. or a place to find jobs, that pay coin to complete from folks needing supplies or is there another form of finding jobs for coin. I am guessing no XP from completing a job, only coin.
Are fragments and components still found in the mountains? I have initially completed building my first items for the objectives but one is for a crafting bench (I think). I have been reading a few posts as far back as 2016 about these items but havenât seen anything recently and I could be wrong (I apologize). My google-fu is atrocious. I am guessing I may need to move out of range of the city to find some untouched mountains to look for them. LOL

also we curently have a competition to make a waterfall with some amazing prices like 4waterbuckets(not in game yet but we have it ) and 20000coins
try locate me in the city not hard to do lol im always around there somewhere and i give ya a full tour and explain my clubhouse who alows to leave messages and take jobs and it has also some storage for beginners to take tools from that we kindly ask to return after you get higher in levels(but you dont need to )
flareQ has started a road to conect to on his side off the city center
so he be happy you the first to join us there
also nothing is rushed here we take our time to make it look goodz
we dont offer coin for jobs but i sponsor the mats to complete the jobs and the footfall money the city makes is used to give people stuff they need to build with but i can offer coin for jobs just didnot think about that yet and now i do

I have a few requests baskets at my HQ in Glehn republic. Feel free do check it out and drop off any materials for coin. Quickest way to get to the HQ is through the transfer station is Pixel gate.
Thanks for the reply and hi @Simoyd!! I have seen a few old meteors lying around but not high enough tools yet to chip at them. Or do they have to be active meteors? Also How do you tell the level of a planet? I am guessing that Solum is a level 0 or 1?
Thank you for the reply and hi @Nevioni!! I didnât know the land regenerates after a set time. I will go in to a few of the cavees I see around my area and check them out. Should I bring slingbows in the event I run across anything under there?
no monsters in caves just yet - but you always need a sling as crazy spitters and wildstock might sometime follow you down the hole;
also needed any time you run around any world
Hey there @wolvy68! Welcome to Boundless! Itâs good to bring a slingbow where available and a strong enough slingbow for the tier planet you are on just in case you need to defend yourself, creatures donât currently spawn underground in caves, but occasionally mobs might fall in and roam the caves aimlessly.

Solum is level 0, You can get through with an iron hammer, not sure about copper or lower. I think they probably need to be completed meteors otherwise you only get an oortstone or two and nothing else.
I often get a oortstone or fossil from the dormant meteors so theyâre definitely worth breaking open. As for the tool, you just need an iron hammer and as youâve built a crafting bench youâre close to getting one but it you need one Iâm happy to give you one.
when you break a dormant meteorite on home world you might get oortstone but sometime only fossil or tech fragment; when you travel to more dangerous worlds, dormant meteorites can yield 2-3 oort stones;
whats inside meteorites (both dormant and completed through fighting mobs) depends on both world level and meteorite level itself

Just donât ask me to build anything, LOL After playing World of Warcraft for over 10 years, I have found I am better at farming or gathering. I just added a name to my beacon, Wolvyâs hideaway, and opened it up to strangers. lol Sorry, I took for granted that if there are jobs that people may offer coin for those who gather for them. When I was tinkering around with Ascent: The Space Game, people in chat would say they need so much ore at this price, People would then haul it to that personâs space station and get paid for helping them gather the ore. If I donât catch you today, I will message you on the forum and let you know when I can be on. Tank you for the reply!!
We had a âjob boardâ designed for new players, but have taken it down temporarily while a minor issue is handled. The likelihood of us re-posting it at our shops location is unlikely as our guild will be offering the same services but on a much larger scale. Iâll be in charge of that side of things once the guild takes it over, so it will be along the same lines as before, just with the backing of multiple people to help support its functionality and participation. More info on this has already been posted in the Portal Seekers thread and will be updated there and our new guild area upon its completion.
Thanks for the reply @Eldwen! I will check out the thread. Where are the portal seekers located or where would I go to look for jobs once the guild has it up and running? I am not sure how much I will be able to be on. I am EST in Florida and work in a hospital normally around 3 days a week, 12 hours a day. Sometimes I have a couple days off in a row, sometimes just one. LOL Not sure if there is a online time requirement for the guild otherwise I may join.
