im there sometimes, but also somewhat frustrated with the game, since ppl thought that with Monumental it will go further, but nothing happend, they just replaced the splash screen.

still no communication about future plans, now devlogs, no announcments, no roadmap, no glimpse if they do something or what, no information, the same silence as before.
no ps5 version with better view distance, just nothing.

I log in about once a week now :disappointed:, I have crazy working hours irl.

I really really want to start over and rebuild but it would only be worth it for me if I knew the game was to keep going or get updated with it being a massive project.

For now I’m happy logging in and doing small scale builds and helping others out with building when I have the time.

I’m Still trying to take over Houchus… and play almost all day still while dabbing into single player games but they normally only last me 3 days then I’m back on Boundless :joy: + I have 510 Weeks of GC so I’ll be here til the End :cookie::cookie::cookie:

bet they now you have 510 weeks GC left, for sure they dont allow you to outlive the game so they turn off ligh day after your GC will expire :smiley:

There’s some folks still playing - not many, but some. I think @Redlotus shared the latest player counts across both PS and PC and it was like 30 concurrent players/day or something.

The latest on the Monumental front, directly from @jon-eric is that Boundless is essentially in maintenance mode for the foreseeable future. No updates are planned and no work behind the scenes towards any updates is or will be done for the foreseeable future as they are mostly focused on some other game they have a good idea for. That said, Jon Eric has been tweaking stuff for Boundless under the hood such as server settings and such and they are addressing server issues when/if they arise.

He did also make mention that he can’t exclude the possibility that there WILL be updates in the future, but that it probably isn’t for a little bit. Once the other game is making money flow in, that’d be when this game would get more attention.
At least if I understood everything correctly.

While accurate, saying “for a little bit” is pretty misleading. We’re talking years and years, not weeks and months before anything would be done with Boundless under the scenario.
